Headwinds Slow Economic Growth

Total revenues of wholesale distributors in 2015 fell by 4.3 percent to $5.3 trillion, reflecting a degradation in commodity prices. After price adjustments, the wholesale distribution industry grew faster than the overall U.S. economy in 2015, posting gains 0.2 percentage points higher than U.S. GDP.
